Examine the detail on the Shark Spoon; the hard cut facets are identical to the facets on the sides of Shark Cannonballs. Literally a chip off the old block. Most fishermen understand it’s the facets that make the Shark Cannonball work and it's those same facets that make the Shark Spoon the most lethal spoon ever made.
The Shark Spoon is substantially different from every other spoon that has ever been made; it is cast in bronze. All the other spoons are stamped out on a high speed press by the millions for pennies each. A high speed press simply cannot come close to producing the hard edged detail required in the facet pattern of a Shark Spoon. Every stamped out spoon has rounded corners; they don't rip up the water like Shark facets.
The fact is, there is little or no light down deep, especially down to where the Mega Shark will be doing its work. Changing the color of your lure down there won't make any difference. Down in that world, it is all about sound; the hard edged facets on the Shark and our spoons make the right sound.
The only technology that exists that can duplicate our facet design is the ancient bronze casting technique known as the "lost wax method". Briefly, a perfect wax casting is produced of a Shark Spoon, the casting is dipped into a slurry of fine jeweler's clay coated with high temperature resistant sand and baked. The baking hardens the cast and also melts the wax, it drains out leaving a cavity with a perfect negative imprint of the spoon. A bronze alloy is poured into the cavity, the resulting product is a perfect Shark Spoon with perfect Shark facets.
Captains all over the world have come to realize it is the Shark Cannonball that actually attracts fish to come into the spread, not the little lure trailing behind as was the common belief for many years. Once the fish enter the spread, offer up a little piece of what they came looking for. The Shark Spoon is literally a little piece off the Shark Cannonball.
